REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT #14 ADDS ADDITIONAL SITE TO HIGH SPEED COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
Dark Fiber Solutions and Charter Communications have again teamed with Regional School District #14 in Woodbury, Connecticut, to add a fifth school site to Region 14’s State-of-the-Art High Speed Communications Network which was established in April, 2004. Students, faculty and administrators at the new Region 14 site will now have access to the applications which have been in use at the original four sites since April, 2004. This technology will give all five schools the ability to adopt new applications and access video resources which will enhance the educational experience for all students. The advanced network will enable applications such as Internet-Based Video Conferencing and Telephony, as well as District-Wide Security Monitoring from a central location.
