DARK FIBER SOLUTIONS, INC. ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA DISTANCE LEARNING CONTRACT (SNDLC) AGREEMENT

BEATRICE, NEBRASKA - Over 60 K-12 schools and Educational Service Units belonging to the Southeast Nebraska Distance Learning Contract have recently signed Agreements with Dark Fiber Solutions, Inc. to continue receiving DFS provided WAN services for an additional 10-Year Period. The DFS service provides each location with a dedicated 100 Mbps Fiber Optic based connection. The educational facilities utilize the DFS provided services for such applications as state-of-the-art Distance Learning, High Speed Internet Access, the sharing of program enrichment courses with multiple National Parks across the United States and many other education-based applications.

"DFS has been providing telecommunications services to most of those sites since 1999 and we are very proud of our history in the educational market and, most specifically, our relationship with these educational facilities. The signing of these new agreements is not only a testimony of the high quality services we have provided to these educational institutions in the past, but a renewal of our mutual commitment to keep these institutions on the leading edge of technology services for the future," commented Mr. Jack Dixon, President of DFS.

"It has been a rewarding and very progressive relationship that has existed between our schools and service units with Dark Fiber Solutions, providing a service that has allowed us not only to meet but to exceed what other groups have accomplished in the State of Nebraska and in many cases the rest of the United States. We look forward to a successful and mutually beneficial relationship in future years," added Mr. Al Schneider, Director of Educational Service Unit #5.
