Dark Fiber Solutions, Inc. Provides New Service for Fairmont Methodist Church

FAIRMONT, NE- December 10, 2008 - Dark Fiber Solutions, Inc. in York, NE, is pleased to announce that the planned upgrade of the video services at the Fairmont Methodist Church has been completed. The original system was a limited access, analog based, video distribution system that allowed local residents unable to attend church functions in person to still experience the church presentations live via the Internet. However, primary access to this service was mostly limited to residents of the local Manor Nursing Home facility also located in Fairmont.

The upgraded service has dramatically improved the video and audio quality and has upgraded the analog based system to a State-of-the-Art IP based access system with streaming audio and video signals available via the Internet. While the service is still available to residents of the Manor, the new service can now be accessed by anyone with reasonable Internet access at www.FairmontMethodistChurch.com.

“Completion of this upgrade is only the beginning of what we intend to be a long relationship with The Fairmont Methodist Church.  Dark Fiber Solutions is pleased to be working with such an outstanding group and plans to offer these same services to any Church looking to offer similar services to their congregation,” stated Jack Dixon, President of Dark Fiber Solutions.

“We feel it is important that our customers focus on the services they offer and that we provide a seamless service that is flexible and tailored to fit their needs.  We are pleased to be providing that level of service to The Fairmont Methodist Church and are incredibly proud of being associated with the delivery of these services in particular,” concluded Dixon.

“Being able to share our sermons and other special occasions worldwide is purely amazing.  This service allows everyone to join our congregation through our website to spread God’s word,” said Dr. Rev. Ra Drake.  “I believe this service that DFS is providing to churches would be a great complement to any organization that has members that have interest in the services they provide but are unable to physically be in attendance,” added Dr. Rev. Ra Drake.
